Disabled Surfers "Have-a-Go" day Piha Surf Life Saving Club - Saturday, 2nd March

The Disabled Surfers Association NZ are super stoked to announce we are good to go on Saturday 2nd March, for our first event for what feels like a very long time!
All PARTICIPANTS and carers welcome and catered for, please message or call if you would like to chat further about how we can adapt our surfing experience for all disabilities. No bookings or wetsuit required, just arrive and sign in between 9 and 11AM, feel free to use the facilities in the (south Piha) surf club before and after the event. Free sausage sizzle and prize giving from 12.30. Bring togs, towel, water and sunblock. Shade available under our beach shelter if required.
VOLUNTEERS of any age or experience welcome and very much appreciated! No water/surfing experience necessary, just turn up and sign in at 8AM, all other safety info and organisation will be sorted before participants arrive from 9. If you have a wetsuit please bring it, we do have some spares if you need to borrow.
