Storm Water

We continue to press Auckland Council to have the Storm Water drains alomgside and under roads cleared to prevent future damage and flooding. We are also trying to get the debris cleared from the Marawhara Stream bridge and the silt removed, as this is an emergency water source for our Piha Volunteer Fire Service.

Piha Post Office - PO Boxes

The Post Office, owned and operated by your Piha R&R has PO Boxes available for rent to members. $100 per Annum plus $10 Piha RE&R Membership. Year stars 1st November. Secure your mail and support Piha this important community facility.

Piha, Katekare & Anawhata Stickered Homes

We are hugely disappointed that Auckland Council ha once again delayed and categorisation of homed in our area. This after more than nine months of promise after promise still leaves those affected with no way to move on with their lives.

Categorisation delays in Karekare and Piha - As announced earlier there is a delay to the categorisation process in Karekare and Piha.  Reports for both communities will be delayed. This means you will not be receiving your initial property category on the date initially set by Council. They are working through a revised timeline with GHD, and will be reaching out to affected property owners in each delivery cluster with the new dates.
