Introducing the Piha Karekare First Response Team

These guys and girls do an amazing job for our community. Please support them in whatever way you are able.

We would like to introduce to you the amazing team that is the St John Piha / Karekare First Response Unit.
From left to right we have Josh (First Responder), Karel (First Responder), Jess (Emergency Medical Technician), Chris (First Responder), Billie (Emergency Medical Technician), Nina (Emergency Medical Technician), Anna (new Recruit) and Tayla (Emergency Medical Technician).

We are a group of dedicated volunteers who all live in Piha and Karekare, so we are able to respond quickly to your medical emergency when you call 111 for an ambulance.

We will be posted up at the Piha Labour Day Market if you’d like to come say hi and test your CPR skills!
