Website to help new ranges residents launched

A website that promotes understanding of the uniqueness of the Waitākere Ranges Heritage Area has been launched. 

The website, livingintheranges.nz is aimed at new residents to the area, is an initiative of the Pest Free Waitākere Ranges Alliance.

It provides details on how to care for the unique environment the Ranges provides, with handy tips on kauri care, how to remove invasive weeds and pest control.

It also has tips on how to attract native birds and how to be a responsible pet owner in the ranges.

It compliments a new booklet that is sent out to all new residents in the area, with both projects funded by Waitākere Ranges Local Board.
