Conflicting Safety Signs - North Piha

Piha R&R is deeply concerned that the new sign at the North Piha carpark conflicts with the existing safety sign and creates a potential danger for visitors.

We believe that the sign showing children swimming, paddle boarder and an outboard motorboat are inappropriate and could lead to vistors, particularly non english speakers, to believing these activitries are safe for all at North Piha.

We have taken this issue uop with the appropriate authorities.
