With great sadness we report the passing of Denise Yates.
Denise is a long serving member of the Waitakere Ranges Local Board, it’s founding Chairperson and past Vice-Chair. Denise was was a keen supporter of all that was good in Piha and regularly attended the Piha R&R Annual General Meetings. She was at the forefront of the movement to establish the Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area Act and a strong supporter of environmental issues. She will be greatly missed in Piha and on the Local Board. Our heartfelt condolences go to her partner Jo.
